Is is safe to breed a mini with a possible standard?

Why would you want too? Breeding dogs should be to create puppies that are lovely examples of the breed....not just to create puppies.
As to size, it would depend on if the bitch was the standard. I would not breed an over size dog to a female that is much smaller.
