About to bring home a 20 month old male dachshund. He will be neutered before he comes home, but needs work on his housetraining because he has been in his outside kennel more than inside. Any tips on training this older dog?

Age doens really make that much difference in house training. You still train them the same way as a pup, only it just might take a little longer.
