A Visitor asked the following question on 4/26/2006
My,son has a puppy that is about 8 weeks old she has worms and my daughter-in-law gives her garlic.The puppy even poops in her carrier and lays it.My question is should they bring her to the vet? They say they bring her outside and as soon as they come back inside she uses it on the floor.

All you need is the weight of your puppy, tell the vet office how much your puppy weight is, they will give you the wormer, it does not cost much, just a few dollars, you need 3 wormer given to this pup every 10 day. You need to keep the puppy outside until she potty's, then play with her awhile outside before you bring her back in. If she is pooping is the carrier, is because she can not hold it, she is still a baby, I would say they need to take her to the Vet to make sure she is getting all the shots she will need, plus they will do the worming at the same time,ask to take some wormer home with you for later worming, wormer is done 3 TIMES every 10 days apart.
