There is no such thing. Why do incorrect breeders classify these pups dapple piebalds, that are actually double dapples. Do they just not want to admit they have a double dapple?

3/6/06 Actually, there is a such thing as a dappled piebald, but in my opinion it should not be done. AKC will only accept 1 pattern. Dapple is a pattern and piebald is a pattern, so you end up having to leave out one of the patterns, therefore not fully recognizing what pattern it is. Carine

3/17/06 You are correct and since the dapple may reproduce you must mark them as dapple. IT muddles the pattern and why do it. For the color or the cost..... Many have been misled into a Piebald with dapple breeding in the genetics and shame on the breeders who have misled them, Jacqulyn! Jacqulyn
