A Visitor asked the following question on 2/16/2006
My dog whines and yelps when picked up sometimes and when he goes upstairs, last night I noticed a lump under his rib cage, he is only two years old and I have had a vet look at him, has anyone else had this experience and know what it may be?

It sounds like he may be having back pain, but I don't know about the lump. If your vet has no idea what is wrong, you need to get your dog to another vet, pronto.
