I believe (through internet research) that my mini Dachshund may have Acanthosis nigricans. However, I don't see any treatments listed. Is there something I can do at home or will the vet need to first take look and give a diagnosis?

Hi,
I have a mini dachshund that has been diagnosed with Acanthosis Nigricans. We have had a lot of success by giving her 200 IU of Vitamin E twice a day. It would be a good idea to go ahead and have your vet take a look at your doxie and make the diagnosis for sure.
