What do you have male or female?
Male as early as 6 months- no guarantees.
Female- I have breed on the first heat of my females, and I have also breeed to female that have skipped 3 heats and the ones that have skipped the 3 heats had more trouble.

The larger the breed, the slower to mature. I would never breed a female before generally their 2nd heat.
A miniature dachshund can reproduce around 7-8 months of age. For a female this is way too young to breed. If you breed them too young you take a chance they may not be mature enough to care fully for their babies. Why take the chance?
