I'm looking for a young red dobie with cropped ears who can undergo a thorough health exam. My daughter bought a dobie puppy 16 months ago from KKK kennels in Buffalo,N.Y. The little guy has been plagued with parasites, foot blisters, skin eruptions & immune deficiency. His medical bills are enormous and he has a short life expectancy.

JKKs website says they have an 8 year health contract, have they helped your daughter at all? The best advice I can give is to do a lot of research about the breeder and the dogs they have produced. Make sure that whomever you choose to buy from takes time to talk to you. good luck in your search.
