i have a male and female doberman.how do i get them to breed? any techniques? any specific details?

Have they been health tested for vWD, hip dysplasia, thyroid function, etc? If not, start there. Next go through each of their pedigrees and if possible check age of death for the dogs in their lines, also make sure there are no Z factor dogs in these lines. Have you shown your dogs? Are they within breed standard? Do you know how to interpret the standard, and can you make an honest evaluation of your dogs? Take the time to contact kennel clubs in your area and dobe breeders and see if you can find a mentor. If after all that you still want to breed start researching the whelping process so you'll have an idea of what to expect. Keep in mind that C-sections can cost anywhere from $500 to $2000 if that becomes necessary. Puppies die, the mother may die... breeding isn't for the faint of heart.
