Dobermanns are measured in inches from the top of the top of the shoulder down to the floor,the british breed standard is ideally 25 and a half inches, (as my bitch is). Males breed standard is 27 inches , although half an inch either way is acceptable in the show ring. At six months the dobermann has not yet stopped growing and like children some grow quicker or slower than others. hope this helps
