A Visitor asked the following question on 10/17/2005
I live in Rochester NY, that's like Buffalo if you don't know where it is. Is this just too cold to keep a doberman? I will put jackets and the like on a dog, but is the climate just torture on them?

No We live in saratoga springs and it gets cold but the best thing to do is the jackets and sweaters... Mine love the snow, you just have to pay attention to how they react.
