Hello. It is generally true that the pigment on the nose will fill in with age. It can take a very long time sometimes though. I have a girl who is 19 months old and the nose still has a touch left. I've heard of dogs going 2-4 years before they fill in totally.

Depending on the bloodlines, the nose pigment can take up to 2-3 years to totally come in. Ask your puppy's breeder regarding the bloodlines that he or she is working with...
