I have been told conflicting reports. Our puppy's nose is freckled. Some people say that it will fill in with age; others say it won't. Any Cavalier owners know for sure? I am just curious.

5/30/05 Hello. It is generally true that the pigment on the nose will fill in with age. It can take a very long time sometimes though. I have a girl who is 19 months old and the nose still has a touch left. I've heard of dogs going 2-4 years before they fill in totally. Holly

6/4/05 Depending on the bloodlines, the nose pigment can take up to 2-3 years to totally come in. Ask your puppy's breeder regarding the bloodlines that he or she is working with...
