I have a 10 week old adorable cavalier, but he doesnt get the idea of not going to the bathroom in the house. He wets his bed, amd pees and poops in his cage, my other cavalier never did this. He will go outside and go to the bathroom but also inside!!!!!!!!

He is still very young and will need you to be very consistant with his housetraining. Make sure that his crate is not too large for him, he should have just enough room to stand and turn around comfortably. Take him outside often, after eating, playing, upon waking and several times in between. It is common to take a puppy outside 6-8 times per day, at least when they are young. Soon he will be able to hold it much longer and eventually will need to go outside only 2-3 times per day. Also, withhold water in the evening hours..after 6pm and do not give food or treats in the evening hours. Only scold him if you catch him in the act. Make a loud noise and pick him up and take him outside to his potty area. Praise him when he goes outside. Sometimes it just takes extra patience with some puppies. The key is consistancy! Hang in there!
