This is a very common question, most people assume that a female is will make a better companion, however, with this breed they are both equally loving, loyal and devoted to their owners. It is said, "A female Cavalier will love you, but a male Cavalier falls in love with you!" I have found that males are exceptionally sweet and housetrain as well as females.
