A Visitor asked the following question on 4/9/2006
how much should I expect to pay for a cavalier king charles spaniel? Should I expect a different price if I don't need a show dog and want one for a family member?

4/26/06 Thank you for your inquiry....Yes, you can expect to pay a breeder much more for a dog that may be show worthy as opposed to pet quality. The biggest difference is this...A dog who may be eligable for show, must also be intact. Therefore, since there is no spay/neuter contract ....the breeder may want to co-own, or sell you breeding rights....and that is why you will pay more. Dawn

7/7/06 All I can give you are my prices. I sell companion pets for temperment and health. I do not limit the registration. Therefore, you would be able to paper your puppies. My prices depend on the color, markings and sex of the puppy. They range from $1,800 to $2,400. Your cost will depend on the supply/demand for the Cavaliers in your area and if you are looking for show vs companion. Also, if you want full or limited registration. Dawn
