A Visitor asked the following question on 8/15/2004
our dog has asymptomatic thrombocytopenia and is being treated with prednisone. She seems lethargic, but also has one arthritic knee that seems to be bothering her, so that could explain her lack of energy. Is it good for her to be on the prednisone? What is the life expectancy of dogs with this condition?
