Cavaliers are not yappy by nature occasionally you can get a hyper one though if you tell the breeder exactly what you are looking for they should be able to guide you in the process of picking your puppy
Cavaliers are quite easy to train and if you are buying from a reputable breeder that tests for heart and eyes and has healthy clean pups then you are on the right track
Cavaliers dont like to be left alone all day theya re a companion dog

If you are looking for a companion, a shadow, with a willingness to please, then the Cavalier is just right for you. Because they are companion dogs, they do not do well being left alone all day if you work long hours. It is important to do 6 month/annual exams to monitor their hearts, especially as they grow older. If all of the above fits your needs, then visit my advertisement and website (www.coosacreekcavaliers.com) for a loving and gentle "comfort spaniel."

I would recommend that you contact a Cavalier breed club to find breeder near you. That way you can make a connection with a local breeder to evaluate if a Cavalier is a good match for you. In the United States the AKC parent club would be the ACKCSC. You can access them on: http://www.ackcsc.org
