Despite their size, Cotons are fairly athletic little dogs. They have a lot of energy. I do not "walk" my Cotons, but I do ensure that they have enough time to run and get their exercise outside and inside. Doing so will make them much more enjoyable members of your family.

Cotons love to run and play -- they are more into play time than walking. They do not require walking -- that is what is so wonderful about the breed. Plus they are not over eaters either.
