Yes on both questions. If you brush them weekly you won't notice it so much but if you don't it will show like around the crate. And they mainly drool after drinking. Some people train them to come to them for a mouth wipe with a towl. I just clean up when the mess happens!!!

We go thru blowing coats (shed out) twice a year when the temps change. I have 7 Corsi, only one of those drools. With that being said I won't take him out of the crate without a drool rag.
