One can never tell. IF a pup shows entropian at such a young age, I would opt to have the eyelid pinned back as soon as possible to avoid trauma. It is one of these things that does not happen often, but most likely the others will not develop it. Be sure it is entropian, some allergies will have the same look and swelling to make the eye lid appear to be entropian. Find a good vet and ask their opinion. It truly is not seen that often in chessies, but does appear out of the blue sometimes.

If you have not done this already, you should take them to a board certified Ophthalmogist and get a compleate exam. Remember entopion is an abnormality of the eyelid, there is some heriditary pretense here, so eventhough the other littermates do not show signs of it, they may carry the gene(s) to pass it on. I do agree with the other member about having it fixed by your vet as the abrasion can cause a cateract. All breeding stock should be OFA (hip) Cerf(eye) and DNA (PRACD) tested clear before using a dog for breeding, in my opinion.
