HI, Joan here. Just got my first pure shar-pei, had a mix before. she is 8weeks and tacked. one is half out. should i take her to the vet or pull it out myself? She is a pet only and already Princess Jade is much loved. My 2 cats on the other hand are quite put out. How do I keep the peace?

Welcome and Congrats on your new peiby. watch her eyes and if the string is loose on the tack you can take it out yourself. As for the cats make sure she get to see them and that she learns limits. Plus a cat will tell them off too
