My Shar-pei is bathed every 2-3 days, has been to the vet and given medicated shampoo but still have a foul order. Is ther something else I can try for the smell? he does not have any skin diseases and he lives inside.

Give him Nullo - human deodorant pills (made of Chlorophyl - all natural). You can buy or order these at the regular drug store. Odor is usually a sign of bacteria or yeast. Something is not right. Are his ears clear of infection of all types (bacterial or yeast)? You can shampoo him with Dawn dishwashing liquid to kill bacteria, 2nd shampoo with the prescription shampoo Malasab or Chlorohexiderm.
