ARE ARE SHAR-PEI'S DISTRUCTIVE IF YOU LEAVE THEM HOME FOR A LITTLE WHILE BY THEM SELVES?

I have owned 4 Shar Pei's & I breed. I have not ever had anything major torn up like with other dogs. My first pei Dexter ate 2 remotes & nothing ever again. I think once they grow out of the chewing stage they are finished.
