First you need to find out the 'cause'; is it fleas? is it a thyroid imbalance? is it allergies? If it were me, I would put your dog on a good flea preventative and go to raw feeding. IMO no commerically prepared food is good for our pets. In the meantime, ask your vet to draw blood and send it to Dr Dodds for a thyroid evaluation.
