Should a 1 year old female with floppy ears be bred

There are many factors going in to choosing whether or not to breed or not to breed as you probably know. If her bite is good, if she isn't too small, if her temperament is good, if her pedigree is good etc. Ears may be a bit floppy if it is a long coat and has heavy hair or heavy ear leather. You can try giving it some added calcium to it's diet. If that doesn't work I'd say not to breed her. It is a serious fault in the chihuahua standard to have floppy ears. gessex3113@iowatelecom.net
