This is my first time.I have a 1 year old female. I had got her when she was 11 month old. The owner that had her said that she was in heat and had her first litter of 2 pups when she was aboout 5 or 6 month. When should she go into her second heat?I want to breed her. I only have her. No male here yet. In order for her to go in heat do I need the male dog here first or will she go in heat without male around? When is the best time to start bring the male to her? How long do the female be pregnant?

I would not breed her again until she is two years old. She was too young for her first litter at about 5 or 6 months old and still to young at age one. You don't need a male dog there for her to go into season.
