i was wondering when training a male chi will he lift his leg and pee over the side of the pan ,and will he lift his leg to pee on my furniture after he's litter trained hope you can help me cause i just got this puppy ,always had females

I personally have not done the litter training but do pad train and I have found a plastic bottle filled with water has been a great aid in giving a male a place he is allowed to hike.
I recommend neutering him asap if not for breeding or showing .
They also make belly bands that are wonderful for keeping a male from going on the furniture.
