i just got a three year old female and she has extremly bad breath...but won't let me near her with a toothbrush...any ideas? thanks in advance

Have the vet check her. She may have retained baby teeth and it is trapping food. If she is eating canned food, she will need teeth cleaned, or she can get gum disease and many teeth can fall out.Bad teeth can make your dog sick
