Do chihuahua's have any allergies that are common with the breed and if short hair, is it a problem going out in kind of cold weather?

as far as allergies go,i don't have any chi's with an allergy and i never have run into one with an allergy.cold weather though is a huge problem,i keep all my dogs in sweaters and boots if they go out in weather below 50.and never never leave a chi or any other small dog out in zero weather even ten minutes can kill a small breed dog.
