A Visitor asked the following question on 3/18/2007
My female chihuahua which is black and tan was bred to a fawn. All of the pups are dark. Three are colored very similar to the female, very shiny black, tan, and small amounts of white. Two are also very dark, but are not as shiny and have more of a grey hue. They are all very healthy and of similar size. The dark gray pups have only a tiny amount of white on their throat. We are new to chihuahuas. Will their color change much? What do you call this coloration?

I am willing to bet they will lighten and be Blues. I have 2 blues. Gorgeous.
