I just bought a toy chi. I noticed when I would take him out that he would drag his bottom on the ground. I thought (worms) so I gave him the worm meds. But today he is still doing it. Was I right? How long does it take to work?

Different wormers treat different worms. You should ask your vet. If the pup has been exposed to fleas and ate one, he could have tapeworm. It is a strong medicine needed for this and only from a vet. Also it could be his anal glands. Again, contact your vet. Some dog foods cause allergy and this could cause the itch of his butt.
