I am looking for a chihuahua that has a regular head. Like the real mexican chihuahuas, not the apple head chihuahuas we normally see. I prefer the chihuahuas that have a smooth head and have smaller eyes. Is there a name for this type? Thanks!!

The applehead is the breed standard so good breeders are breeding for this. What you are referring to is called a "deerhead", while great pets and cute little dogs, they are not really within the breed standard so should not be bred.
