Why does size matter? If this doesn't take, she will not show. If she was a maiden then she may not show until very late in the pregnancy. Gestation averages 63 days from date of first breeding, though I find 59 and 60 most common in chis. I do hope you are breeding responsibly. The world does not need more pets and if you breed, know what you are doing and have a goal, a purpose. If you are breeding you should have several reference books and be learning all you can.

i can not believe another breeder answered you...first off if you dont know what breeding looks like you dont need to be breeding...and an 8 lb female can do serious damage to a 2 lb male including rupture of this testicals...you need to be watching the breedings at all times...why are people stupid?
