my daughter and i are starting to breed chihuahuas and dont know how much money to charge for the puppies. i have heard that the smaller they are, the more to charge for them, but we dont know whether to do that or not. our puppies will be anywhere from 3.5-4 lbs as adults. i have seen these chihuahuas to cost from $300-$1500 and sometimes more than that. we are lost on exactly how much to chargefor them. please help! thanks!!!

This all depends on where you are located and
where you intend to sell your puppies.
It also depends if they are show quality or pet
qualitfy. If they are AKC registered or not.
In small towns, we do not get the prices that the
large cities get. I had a family come from the
large city to buy from me. My chihuhua, AKC
show quality maturity weight 3 lb chocolate
with white markings smooth coat sold for 800.00
They were amazed at my price. They stated they
had been looking in their area (big city) for
a year and anything close to the quality of mine
was 2000.00 and above.
So there are a lot of factors to consider.

it depends on many things...from the sounds of it your daughter has unregistered dogs...so you need to sell all these pups at pet price of no more then 300 and place them on spay/neuter contracts then fix your daughters dogs and never breed again
