Hi, I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of Chihuahua's being specially bred for the sole purpose of becoming fighting dogs? This is suppose to be happening in Mexico and the dogs are making their way into the US, being sold for pets. From what I was told, the dogs have a sharp nose, teeth that have an over bite, bulldog stand and very agressive nature. Do I believe this person or not? Any info would be appreciated.
On a personal note, I hope he was full of it, because I abhor dog fighting period! Thanks

I would highly doubt this...Chihuahuas naturally love other Chihuahuas, so unless they are pitting these Chi's against other breeds they wouldn't see any fights...the only time I've ever had Chi's fight fight is 2 males over a female in heat.
Chi's just don't have the size or temperment for fighting like that.
I think the person who told you this is full of it.
