A Visitor asked the following question on 5/1/2005
I have heard that Chinese Crested puppies need to have their ears taped back at about 5 weeks of age in order to get them to stand erect later on ( similar to Great Danes). Is this true? And if so, how is it done?

5/2/05 most pups ears stand on their own since unlike great danes, the ears do not need to be cropped in order to stand erect. jeannie

8/21/05 The ears of a CC often need to be taped upright for several weeks or months so that they learn to stand. They don't need to be "taped back" however, that would discourage them from standing up. Tracey
