You do not "have to" bred with a powderpuff.
We choose to bred hairless to powderpuff to try and improve the mouth/teeth of the hairless.
My opinion is that you may bred to same type if you wish, as long as all other qualities are equal. JAE.

If you breed puff to puff, all the breeders tell me you get only puff puppies which are much harder to find good homes for.
