A Visitor asked the following question on 12/5/2007
I have a young male chinese crested. He is constantly scratching his ears and skin. We bath him often with an oatmeal body wash and follow up with body lotion. I have even tried using anti-itch ointment. Our vet can't figure it out either. Any suggestions? Thanks - Barbara

It is possible that your dog has an allergy to one or more of the ingredients in his food. This is usually a long procedure to figure out what the ingredient is and then make sure you do not feed him food that contains those items. I would start with a quality food that contains no grains. It usually take about a month to notice a difference. Keep up the oatmeal bath.
