I have 3 children 11, 3 1/2 and 16mos. Live in Oregon (lots of rain) Are children too young for a puppy and or what age should a puppy be when you take them home. Found 9 week old pups.

Hello, My children are 16 months and 3 1/2 years old and they do wonderful with our Boston Terriers. However when the puppy is small you will want to be careful the children do not hurt it. Boston Terriers are a great breed for children. Normal age a puppy leaves their mother is 8 weeks. Hope this helps.
