I have been reading that in-breeding in all breeds of dogs has introduced a genetic predisposition to cancer. Does anyone know of Bernese Mountain Dog breeders that screen for a reduced chance of cancer?

Breeders that have no knowledge of their blood lines are the biggest problem. Secondly use bloodlines that have shown good longevity in there breeding dogs. I believe that poor quality of life (home alone all day) and poor diet is the biggest contributor to cancer. There is a huge increase in cancer in people as well, but we are not inbreeding.
