Am a Kelpie breeder in Oregon. Am curious about the "McCallum" name and it's origin. Can you tell me if it's just a surname or an actual purebred dog.

McCallum was a working border collie breeder from Australia who lived in Texas. The dogs were line bred for working cattle and were very smooth coated type border collies mostly with erect ears.
