A good breeder should have a 3 to 4 generation pedigree showing the lines of any pup they have whelped. You can also go thru AKC as long as they are reg with them.

Generally speaking "champion bloodlines" aren't worth much; often it just means there was one champion about six generations back. As Sandi said, you can purchase a 3-4 generation pedigree from the AKC that will have any champions of record listed - to find out about champions further back you'd either need to order pedigrees on the grandparents/great-grandparents, or if you know the specific champion's name you can get their information from the AKC.
