i have a 2 year old male boxer. His toenails are falling off, an are sore and bleeding a little. it started with one paw and has gone to both front paws and one back paw. The vet put him on antibiotics, but he is not getting better. He is not sick, but he is sore. what can be causing this?

It could be a number of things; zinc deficiency, for example, is one of many nutritional problems that can cause skin and nail issues.
There is a condition called SLO that is common in Greyhounds and results in loss of toenails - it might be something for you and your vet to consider.
