Why would a boxer all of a sudden start to cough alot and when waking up from a nap have a large urine spot be present

It could be any number of things, the cough and urination may be related or may not. Spayed females can develop incontinence, there could be a urinary tract infection, or kidney problems; the coughing could be kennel cough, or heart problems; or both could be something else entirely. Best bet is to get the dog to a vet.
