My boxer who is 7 months old has a growth on the inside of the flap of his ear..It is flesh colored up til the top and the top of the bump is like a scab and it is very dark in color almost back....It is about the size of my thumb nail. It also is hard..I am wondering what it is and how to clear it up...

It could be any number of things; hematoma or histiocytoma are the most benign possibilities, but it may be something more troublesome. Best to have it checked by a vet, and possibly removed.
