Price varies by region; anywhere from $700-1200 would be average for a pet puppy from a responsible breeder.
More important, however, is what health testing has been done on the parents, whether they've been evaluated for structure and temperament, whether the breeder stands by their dogs, etc. Some questions to ask breeders, along with possible answers, can be found here:
