A Visitor asked the following question on 3/5/2006
We rescuded a brindle boxer that was not being feed, when we got her the owners told us she was pure breed but we are having a hard time getting the name of the breeder from them. When next to a male brindle boxer her nose is longer and she sheds and the male doesnt shed near as much. Do boxers shed alot? Do some have longer noses then others?

Boxers do shed quite a bit, but if she was malnourished her coat was probably in poor condition - she may be shedding more than usual now as a healthy coat grows in. Some Boxers have longer noses than others, often these dogs are from breeders who don't pay close attention to the standard.
