our bull terrier is 12 weeks old do you know when his ears will stand up by themselves and do you recommend taping

Some pups will go 6 months without ears standing. As far as taping, I don't. I let nature take its coarse. I don't see anything wrong with it if you are in a hurry, but be careful. If you tape too tight you can kill the ear (the part under the tape can be starved of its blood supply).
