It varies. They can have just one or two or as many as six or seven. They can even have more, but that is generally not the case. I would say the average is about 5.

I would agree with the 5 as the norm. I had a friend that her bullie had 10 with 1 dying... Too many for the mother to handle... But how do you control it. jbbulldog.com
