IS THERE A WEBSITE WHICH I CAN CHECK ON ANY NEGATIVE RESPONSES TO A SPECIFIC BREEDER. I'M GETTING MY PUPPY FROM A BREEDER THAT IMPORTS AND I HAVE READ SO MUCH NEGATIVE INFORMATION AND I HAVE HESITATIONS NOW AFTER READING ALL THIS.

3/12/06 You really need to get good references from the breeder. ALso look for if they raise Bulldogs or just import. Watch out for where they are importing from. Try and talk with their Vet. patricia

3/19/06 I don't know of any websites that you can check for negative feedback on breeders, however, I would highly caution against buying a puppy that is imported from a breeder overseas. I would also not recommend buying an imported puppy from a breeder here in the states. A lot of people are starting to import these puppies and selling them for a higher price here but they do not know any background on the puppy. The best thing you can do is to get vet references from breeders. Any reputable breeder will have a vet that knows them very well and will know any problems that the breeder is having with their bulldogs. Getting personal references from breeders is not very reliable. Larry

4/21/06 You may want to try a web site by the name of the squeaky wheel. They have listed unethical and irresponsible breeders. Stacey

9/25/08 You can also try ripoffreport.com. I would avoid anyone who imports puppies for resale (not to be confused with legitimate, knowledgeable breeders who look overseas for top lines and bring them in for their own show/working/breeding dogs...) Steve
